The most overlooked voice in tennis is the player’s.

Every club, brand, pro, and association depends on player participation and spending to survive and grow. Yet most make their important decisions without ever formally asking players what they want. The gap between what the industry thinks players want and what players actually say is where most of tennis's growth opportunities are hiding.

We're changing that. By giving players a real voice and delivering their intelligence to clubs, brands, and pros, The Player Voice makes tennis better for everyone who plays it.

The Player Voice is deliberately independent. We are not affiliated with any club, brand, association, or governing body. Our research is funded by the organizations that subscribe to our findings, not by the organizations we research.

That independence is what makes our data trustworthy to players and valuable to the industry. Players share honest opinions because they know their voice isn't filtered through anyone with a commercial interest in the outcome.

I'm Peter Figueredo, a tennis player based in Bergen County, New Jersey, and the founder of The Player Voice.

I spent 25 years helping some of the world's most recognized organizations, including The Wall Street Journal, SAP, Audible, and the Mayo Clinic, understand what their customers actually want and build better experiences around it. The whole time, I kept seeing the same gap in tennis. Clubs, brands, and pros are making decisions about the player experience without ever formally asking players what they want.

So I decided to do something about it.

I started playing tennis at an early age, inspired by my father and one amazing coach. Currently, I play 4 to 5 times a week, compete in USTA leagues, and I'm pursuing my USTA coaching certification. My passion for tennis has spread to my wife and kids, who also play. When it comes to tennis, I am a player, a fan, a student, a coach, and someone who believes in continuously improving the experience for all.

The Player Voice isn't an outside observer's view of tennis. It's built from the inside, by someone who loves the game and knows what it's like to feel like your voice doesn't reach the people running the clubs you play at.

That's what we're changing.
